Wednesday Wishes. Links

A few style blogs I follow have been wearing some sweeeet link bracelets from J.Crew. Now we all know my love for J.Crew, so it comes as now surprise that I have a major crush on their link jewelry. However, there are far too many choices... scrolled link, classic link, pave link, and resin link. I think it just comes down to which one looks the best with my rose gold watch. I think this just might make my short list for my birthday coming up.

Wednesday Wishes. 31 Bits.

31 Bits Designs is a great company that gives displaced women in Uganda an opportunity to overcome poverty. They gives these women a chance to provide for their families and also to better themselves through education and financial and vocational training. Reading some of the designer's stories, it's clear that 31 Bits is changing lives.

And to top it off, they have an awesome vision statement. Love, equality, hope, honesty, and quality all play into their dream for this company. So very beautiful. Check out these gorgeous bracelets.

Since I was too cheap to buy this Wednesday Wish, I decided to create some of my own. Six dollars and four necklaces later, I was very happy with the finished projects.

This is no craft for a two year old, mind you, so Addie picked out a rather cute bird house. No bird is going to miss this attraction!

My Buddy Boy is 6 months old today. Sigh. I could tell you all the cliche stuff about how fast time has gone and how I love him to pieces, but I won't go there. It would all be true, but I would like to make it through this post with out weeping!

Instead I will share what Buddy Boy does to make me smile =)

Nibbles on his lip

Yelps in excitement when he sees his sister

Face snuggles 

Throws down his lower lip when he is super sad

Rubs his giraffe cuddle blanket against his face

Rarely laughs unless his clothes are off

Rubs his head when he is ready for bed

Babbles MaMa and then gets a big smile

Spins around in his saucer

Grabs his sister's hair when she gives him a hug (which in turn makes his sister cry)

Puts his entire fist in his mouth

And he is a pro at giving a great smile

Project. Fly Like A Fox

So I finally finished up the kid's fox shirts last night. The hubs says, "Let's see!". I hold up Dex's shirt and he goes, "A cat?". Not quite what I was going for. THEN to top it off, I show Addie her shirt this morning and she exclaims, "The big bad wolf!!". Seriously folks?!

Oh well, I still think it's a cute little creature.

Wednesday Wishes

Today's Wednesday Wishes is thanks to a certain  5 month old who CAN NOT stop chewing on stuff. His hands are his top pick, but my hair and clothes are a close second and third. Maybe this beauty would help his Mama out!

This baby's big sis is always on guard.  She constantly yells, "Watch out! Messy hands!!". It still doesn't stop him from making his Mama look like quite a mess. So if you see me and my hair is a disaster or my clothes have slobber marks, just know I did my best to look somewhat presentable. It is a hard fought battle with this adorable 5 month old =)

Alex started a new job a few weeks ago and what a difference it has made for our family. Time has been given back to us and we are not taking it for granted.

April looks especially exciting with loads of family time and tons of stuff to do! First off, family visiting for Easter. Thursday can't come soon enough!
